CASHEW NUT

East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is one of Indonesia’s main cashew-producing regions, with the largest cultivation area in the country, spread across almost all districts, particularly in Timor, Flores, Sumba, and Alor. The crop is well-suited to NTT’s dry climate, making it a leading regional commodity, although its productivity remains relatively low compared to its potential.
